Did you ever know someone who had an annoying little brother or cousin that followed them around, trying to do everything that their older sibling/cousin did? They tried their best, but you just knew deep-down that they'd never quite measure up. Well, that's Mega Camerupt. Maxie's signature Mega Evolution (he never used Groudon in the main series, save his old-school alternate version in Ultra Sun/Moon's Rainbow Rocket story) really doesn't offer a whole lot, and it stands in several REALLY tall shadows as it tries to compete in the Fire meta and wishes that it could even compete for Ground. It's not the WORST Mega Evolution, but it's terribly out-classed and not worth raising.

Incinerate and Overheat is the way to go if you want this volcano to erupt.
Ember and Low Kick are sub-par.
Earth Power could be good if Mega Camerupt had a Ground Type Fast move, but as-is it's relegated to the same place as Earthquake and Solar Beam as less than useful options.
