Mega Camerupt Raid Guide
Mega Camerupt is basically what you use your free raid pass on if you have it left over at the end of the day. Unless it's your favourite Pokemon there's no reason to take down Mega Camerupt.
As for taking it down, it's rather easy. That's understating how easy this raid is. Seriously, it's double weakness to Water is so exploitable that even with some of the Good Counters you can solo this thing.
Supreme Counters
If you're weak to Water than you'll see every flavour of Kyogre make an appearance, and that's no different here. If you're lacking the big fish than you're fine with the shadow variants of most water type starters. With any of these Supreme Counters you'll manage a solo.
What is there to say, Primal Kyogre is here to bully Mega Camerupt to such a level that its entire family tree is wiped of the game.
Everything said for Primal Kyogre is true for Shadow Kyogre to a slightly lesser degreem though there is still some serious famlity tree wiping going on...
Mega Swampert does something that Primal Kyogre can't and that's net extra XL candies due to its part Ground typing, if you're in need of those. On the offensive side of things, Mega Swampert is a beast and will not let you down.
It's easy to forget that Mega Blastoise is a solid Water type. It doesn't reach the highs of Mega Swampert
Shadow frog goes brrrrrr
And thus every flavour of Kyogre has made an appearance.
If you didn't know, (Shadow) Kingler is a solid Water type attacker mainly due to Crabhammer.
Another shadow starter makes it the top counters. It just goes to show how good Hydro Cannon is.
It's a Water type with Hydro Cannon, are you noticing a pattern?
Gyarados is here in case Camerupt is rocking a Ground type charged attack, showcasing its useful Flying typing. Just keep it away from Rock Slide.
Good Counters
Most of these Pokemon can manage a solo, but bring a friend just in case something goes wrong.
