Zeraora was set to be a bit of a mediocre Electric Type... until Plasma Fists dropped. Zeraora is now a very strong vanilla Electric Type, sitting with performance very similar to Shadow Raikou, but with higher TDO. It's DEFINITELY worth raising, as it not only has great performance, it is also going to eventually become the currently projected top Electric Type Mega Evolution someday. Yeah; it's worth raising a Zeraora, and it's also worth considering for a bottlecap.
Offense
- Volt Switch tends to out-pace Spark due to its higher damage output and energy per second, though it's also REALLY slow and hard to dodge with.
- Plasma Fists is the only Charged Move worth using. Though if you REALLY wanna take Zeraora to the ABSOLUTE MAXIMUM, then you can unlock a second Charged Move and add Discharge to the mix. Due to its low energy cost, it can be used in situations where Zeraora is about to faint with some energy built up, but not enough to hit Plasma Fists again. That said, the actual advantage of this strategy is a bit negligible.
- Wild Charge is great, but inferior, while Thunder Punch is pretty much Discharge, but worse.
