Kleavor is a Pokemon with a great design, but is yet another victim to Niantic's moveset choices. Despite getting the ideal Rock move and a great Bug move on the Charged side, Kleavor's Fast Move options are terrible for it.

This Pokemon may have a future if it gets a good Bug Type fast move, and it also has a Signature Move by the name of Stone Axe that could help on the Rock side if it also gets a Rock Type Fast Move, but for the time being it's purely a dex filler.

  • Fury Cutter and X-Scissor is a fast and furious moveset that allows Kleavor to cleave anything weak to Bug.
    • Fury Cutter can also work with Rock Slide, as it's strong enough to be useful off-type.
  • Quick Attack and Air Slash fall short.
  • Stone Edge and Trailblaze fall short.

  • Air Slash is Kleavor's strongest Fast Move option on defense, with superior stats and similar coverage to Quick Attack.
  • Fury Cutter is inferior on defense.
  • X-Scissor comes out faster and more often, but Rock Slide has great coverage and solid power. Either option is fine on defense.
  • Trailblaze is a bit weaker, but it offers counter-coverage.
  • Stone Edge is hard to dodge, but Kleavor probably won't get a chance to utilize it.

Appropriately, Quick Attack provides good energy gains, making it the Fast Move of choice. X-Scissor has good power for low energy cost, making it a solid and spamable move, while Trailblaze is a weaker option with Attack buffing capabilities and counter-coverage against Water Types.
