Dynamax Flygon is in a bit of an odd limbo in terms of Dynamax Pokemon. It's capable of throwing out decently powerful Max Quakes and Max Wyrmwinds, but there are better options out there for that role. It's capable of tanking Electric Types thanks to its triple resistance, but its general support capabilities are pretty mediocre at best in most situations. In short; Flygin has a pretty shallow niche, and while it CAN work, other Pokemon can do its job better.

- Sand Attack and Mud Shot are both good options for Max Quake, though the former is a bit stronger objectively... though the difference is pretty miniscule in terms of Max Battles.
- The same logic follows for the preferred defensive moveset.
- Dragon Tail is the way to go for Max Wyrmwind.
