Shadow Entei Raid Guide
Shadow Entei is one of the better Fire Types in the game, so it's definitely one of the better Shadow Pokemon to raid for as well. Fortunately, it's not a terribly difficult raid to take on, relatively speaking. Its low Defense makes it easy to take down with a few Purified Gems, so it's definitely a worthwhile raid to focus on.
Note that utilizing enough Purified Gems will greatly reduce the number of players needed to clear this raid, with our low-ball estimate representing the approximate number of players if you use the optimal number of Purified Gems, while our high-ball estimate representing what to expect if you decide to play it the hard way.
Supreme Counters
Early warning: by our normal rules for Supreme Counters, around half of the Pokemon on this list would be Mega Pokemon.
The top counter here in general, Primal Kyogre hits hard, resists most of what Entei can throw at it, and even boosts Water Types by simply existing. This thing is remarkably strong, and generally THE Pokemon to bring along.
Primal Groudon is a bit weaker here, but NOT by much at all. It can out-perform Primal Kyogre in clear weather, but Ground Types tend to be a bit weaker in this raid than Water Types, so its Primal boost has a little less value. That said, Primal Groudon is still amazing.
The king of the non-Mega Water Types, Shadow Kyogre is definitely one of the absolute best Pokemon for this raid.
Just like how Shadow Kyogre is a weaker but unlimited Primal Kyogre on a team, Shadow Groudon is a weaker but unlimited Primal Groudon on a team.
While the Primals rule this raid, Mega Garchomp is an outstanding option with a lot of raw power. It's a great backup option.
Shadow Rhyperior has a great mix of DPS and TDO, making it a great choice here... though it doesn't like Iron Head and Scorching Sands.
Speedy little frog puts fear in Entei's heart.
Shadow Ramparados has an outstanding DPS and decent TDO, making it a great choice for getting ahead of the clock. Just watch out for Scorching Sands and Iron Head....
Shadow Swampert doesn't have to fear any Grass Type moves from Shadow Entei, meaning it can start flooding this poor fire-beast with minimal interference.
Despite its lack of Super Effective damage, Mega Rayquaza has a tremendous average performance here, making it a great choice in the absence of the Primals or Mega Garchomp.
