Virizion Raid Guide
Virizion, while not good for PvE, has solid play in Ultra League. Just for that reason allow it's definitely worth picking up. If you're still not convinced then you might want to check out its shiny forme...
Poor poor Virizion, even though it has decent bulk, it has a double weakness to Flying. This makes it easy pray for one of the strongest Pokemon in the game: Mega Rayquaza. This thing can solo Virizion (except against Stone Edge) without the need of Weatherboost or a level 50 investment. Yes you will have to fully heal Mega Rayquaza and re-lobby a few times. If you're lacking a Mega Rayquaza you'll still have an easy time, you'll just need to bring along a friend or two.
Supreme Counters
Yeah, Mega Rayquaza eats this thing for breakfast. Even if you don't have one there are still plenty of solid options, you'll just miss out on the solo.
Mega Rayquaza shows itself once again to exploit a Fying-type (double) weakness, making Virizion solo-able if you have a high enough level Mega Rayquaza. The sheer power of this thing can not be underestimated.
You better start getting used to seeing Shadow Toucannon show up anything something is weak to Flying. While its Attack stat isn't anything special, the Elite move Beak Blast makes Shadow Toucannan soar new to new heights.
Not mega evolving Rayquaza still allows it to be one of the top Flying type attackers, just not as good as the toucan...
Shadow Salamence shows off its versitile movepool, allowing it to deal massive damage against Virizion without having a double Flying moveset. A truely impressive feat.
Virizion gives Enamorus a rare opportunity to make the most out of its moves and really threaten it.
If you have a good Yveltal with Oblivion Wing you can add it to fill out your team.
If you don't have a Mega Rayquaza, Mega Salamence is a good substitute.
