Analysis
Shadow Scyther isn't up to par with its evolution, but it honestly can work in select scenarios, primarily when its Flying sub-type puts in work. That said, it's still better to just evolve it into Shadow Scizor.
Offense
- Fury Cutter and X-Scissor is about it.
- Air Slash and Aerial Ace can do a bit if you're desperate.
- Steel Wing, Night Slash, Trailblaze... all worthless for Shadow Scyther.
Defense
- Air Slash is the best Fast Move, with high power and STAB. However, it can be easily walled out, so Steel Wing has its utility as well, especially as counter-coverage against Rock Types.
- Fury Cutter is legitimately bad on Defense.
- X-Scissor, Night Slash, Aerial Ace, and Trailblaze all have potential utility on defense, depending on your choice of Fast Move.
