Shadow Cresselia Raid Guide

Shadow Cresselia Raid Guide

Shadow Cresselia is a relatively threatening raid, due in part to its very respectable 258 Defense. It can also become somewhat threatening depending on its moveset, with Confusion hitting really hard and Moonblast threatening many Dark Types that would otherwise threaten it. Bring your Purified Gems and quell this thing's rage as it rewards you with... a Pokemon of extremely limited utility potential.

Note that utilizing enough Purified Gems will greatly reduce the number of players needed to clear this raid, with our low-ball estimate representing the approximate number of players if you use the optimal number of Purified Gems, while our high-ball estimate representing what to expect if you decide to play it the hard way.

These are generally the best Pokemon to bring to this raid. While most of them are good enough to score a 4-person raid, the list of viable Pokemon outside of bringing Lv.50s or utilizing boosts drops pretty quickly.

When a Ghost weakness shows up, Mega Gengar will show up too. The DPS monster itself, Mega Gengar hits HARD, but it genuinely fears Confusion and Future Sight.

The other tremendous monster of the Ghost Type, Dawn Wings Necrozma is tremendously powerful and scores high in DPS and TDO alike.

Mega Absol's GENERAL performance is actually below Mega Tyranitar, but its higher DPS can be helpful in some situations.

Mega Tyranitar has a fantastic average performance, sporting great resistances and outstanding bulk that allows it to survive a good long time while hitting very hard.

That double-resistance to Psychic Type moves puts in a lot of work on average, and its DPS is great too.

Another high-performer, Shadow Tyranitar has a great overall profile... though it hates Moonblast, as do most Dark Types.

Having trouble figuring out what Pokemon to bring to this raid? Let Shadow Chandelure shed a bit of light on the situation....

Shadow Hydreigon has great overall performance... so long as it's not facing down Moonblast.
