Mega Medicham Raid Guide
Poor Mega Medicham. Thanks to Abilities not being a thing in GO it will have to live on as one of the most saddest Mega Evolutions in the game. Is it worth raiding? Not really. It doesn't even have a unique typing to offer as a mega boost...
As for taking it down, you're going to have a pretty good time. It's weak to some aboslute units and sporting a mediocre to frail defense stat, allowing it to be solo'd by most Supreme Counters alone.
Supreme Counters
Most of these Pokemon are capable of managing a solo, regardless of weather conditions.
Pokemon GO's champion rears its head as the Flying type is being called upon. Mega Rayquaza has access to Dragon Ascent, a busted Flying type move that has fantastic raw power begind it. It's more than powerful enough to solo this raid if you're wanting to make it a bit more interesting.
Dawn Wings Necrozma has a fantastic moveset in Psycho Cut and Moongeist Beam, with Psycho Cut* generating energy quick and Moongeist Beam dealing great damage.
*Shadow Claw is great here too, but due to the superior energy generation, Psycho Cut is slightly more favourable.
Are you in need of Ghost type damage? Boy do I have the Mega for you. Mega Gengar has some of the best Ghost type DPS, allowing it to hit very HARD. Just note that it doesn't like any Psychic type moves from Mega Medicham. Dodge for maximum effectiveness!
Note: Shadow Claw is very much viable for Mega Gengar, Lick only slightly outperforms it, but the difference is minimal.
Don't sleep on Shadow Moltres as it has guinely good DPS. Flying type attackers are few and far between, but this one remains amongst the better ones.
It's not required for Rayquza to be Mega Evolved to shine. Dragon Ascent is just that good of a move!
It's a slightly more frail version of Mega Gengar, which is a good thing to be... Plus it gets some browny points for not being weak to any of Mega Medicham's Psychic type moves.

Here is your TDO champion for this raid. Too bad that there aren't many Psychic/Fairy type Pokemon to take advantage of its Mega Boost.
This is one of those raids where its unique typing and moveset shine very bright! Use it while you can!
Good Counters
Some of these Pokemon have pretty great performances, but it's generally recommended to use these as fillers if you have any of the above.
