Tapu Lele Raid Guide
Tapu Lele has committed one of the cardinal sins that a raid boss can commit; it let itself have a Steel weakness. This means that, depending on your team, this could actually be a fairly easy raid despite its relatively solid raw power. That said, Tapu Lele has... limited utility. It's workable as an attacker and at least exists in the Master League, but that's about it for now.
Supreme Counters
All of the top Pokemon on this side of the list are very much duo-worthy, so we've put a bit more emphasis on TDO here
Dusk Mane Necrozma may not have the highest DPS here, but it does have the highest TDO of the big-3 Steel Types thanks its Steel/Psychic typing and the resistances that it brings.
Zacian's stellar typing and amazing raw power makes it an obvious choice for this raid. While tis TDO generally won't quite be as good as Dusk Mane Necrozma, its absurd DPS makes up for that fact.
For once, Zamazenta gets the defensive short end of the stick in this raid. While it's a defensive behemoth that has the added advantage of its Steel typing shielding it even farther, its Fighting sub-typing is a major liability that makes it the lowest average TDO option of the big 3 Steel Types.... which is so odd to say considering its entire thing is that it's a living shield.
While generally less effective here due to its lack of a Steel typing, Dawn Wings Necrozma has quite a bit of raw power behind it as well.
While Mega Metagross may not have the highest DPS among the Megas in this raid, it does have the same outstanding typing as Dawn Wings Necrozma, the highest average TDO among the Mega options here, and the ability to boost Steel Types while on the field.
While Mega Metagross has a lot in common with Dusk Mane Necrozma in this raid, Mega Lucario has a lot in common with Zamazenta... minus the fact that this thing can actually out-DPS Mega Metagross.
On that note, it's probably best to not TM away Force Palm just for this raid.
While substantially worse than the competition in terms of TDO, Mega Gengar's high DPS makes it an attractive option as well.
Shadow Metagross is basically Dusk Mane Necrozma, but weaker. Still, a weaker Dusk Mane in this case is still incredibly good.
Eternatus is the only Poison Type on this side of the list (Mega Gengar doesn't count), and it... has issues. Its Poison typing is weak to Psychic, and its Dragon typing leaves it without a Fairy resistance. Still, its naturally high bulk means it can put in good work!
Steel/Psychic good for this raid, high power, blah blah blah... we've covered this basic concept several times already.
Good Counters
The Good counters here are generally within duo-worthy DPS, but going too far down the list will lead to some what are only really viable for a trio unless paired with some great DPS options.
