Mega Lucario Raid Guide

Mega Lucario Raid Guide

Mega Lucario is the master of Fighting Types, and it's honestly not even close. This thing is one of the overall top Pokemon in terms of neutral DPS, and is a must-have for pretty much every team. Just... farm up the energy and add it to your team. Go and do it now. You won't regret it.

When it comes to actually BEATING this thing... it's actually not TOO bad, all things considered. Yes, it hits like a meteor, but it also doesn't have the best defenses, and is weak to some VERY STRONG Pokemon... including itself. Thugh that issue goes both ways. This is actually a fairly manageable solo, but with that HUGE list of coverage moves, it could very well be a bloody fight. Since most of the solo-worthy options are generally fairly far into solo-range DPS-wise, we've put a bit more focus on TDO in places this time. This also means that you can afford to do a bit of dodging where appropriate.

The Supreme Counters should all be capable of scoring a solo at or around Lv.40, just be mindful of weaknesses and dodge where needed.

In-game Search string

Fighting fire with fire pays off very well here... or maybe fighting fighting with fighting? Either way, Mega Lucario can prove just how strong it is against itself... just watch out for Fighting Type moves, and be ready to do some dodging.

Primal Groudon leverages its tremendous power and typing to act as a universally great option here, trading some of Mega Lucario's raw power out for a TREMENDOUS TDO that makes it just as good of an option, and potentially an even better candidate in truth.

Also worth mentioning; Primal Groudon boosts Ground and Fire Types by just existing on your team, so there's A LOT of value here.

As tends to be the case, Mega Charizard Y's typing comes in clutch here, resisting Mega Lucario's Fighting Type moves alongside a few other attacks as well. It's a bit worried about Thunder Punch, but just about everything else is a cake-walk.

While its sub-typing does it fewer favors than Mega Charizard Y's, this is still an amazingly powerful Fire Type that can scorch the earth with ease. Just be ready to dodge a bit more.

Shadow Heatran is a mixed-bag here: a few of these matchups it walls out STUPIDLY well, while others it struggles in. Try to scout out moves before you bring it along, and be ready to dodge.

Shadow Emboar is a bit bulkier than most of the other Fire Type starters, so it does pretty well here.

Do some dodging, and bring the heat.

Look at that smile... it wants to be friends with Mega Lucario!

....I hope that Mega Lucario has had its shots.

While we have some MONSTERS in the Mega Evolution field above, Mega Garchomp is a good all-arounder that can act as a backup option that puts in good work.

It will light the way to victory thanks to its double-resistance to Fighting!
