Analysis
While not quite as offensively powerful as Terrakion due to the lack of a stronger Fast Move, Keldeo is an extremely high-performing Fighting Type attacker with a typing that may prove itself superior to its elder Musketeer in select raids. However, it also plays second-fiddle to its Resolute forme, which has access to Secret Sword (not to be confused with Sacred Sword) as the key to its raw power.
Offense
- Low Kick and Sacred Sword is the way to go, period. No other moveset really matters.
Poison Jab has significantly better parameters than Low Kick, making it the preferred Fast Attack even though it lacks STAB. It also provides Keldeo with coverage against Fairy- and Grass-type opponents.
Sacred Sword is Keldeo's bread and butter Charged Attack, dealing reliable Fighting-type damage thanks to its low cost and solid DPE. Aqua Jet has a higher DPE than Hydro Pump, and a very low energy cost as well, making it an ideal pairing for Sacred Sword. X-Scissor is a good move overall, but its coverage tends to be less valuable than Hydro Pump's closing potential. Close Combat is a wonderful move, but is outshined by Sacred Sword's reliability.
