Regieleki Raid Guide
Regieleki is a monstrously powerful Electric Type, so wanting to raid it is pretty natural. Well, you're in luck; this thing has near paper-thin defenses, and while it's only weak to one type, that type is very strong and sports a natural double-resistance to Regieleki's STAB types. It's to the point where a solo is viable with some of the more optimal counters in Sunny weather and/or when Behemoth Blade's damage boosting Adventure Effect is active. That said, it's also very much an easy duo, with the vast majority of the Ground Types on our tier list sporting the raw power necessary to manage.
Supreme Counters
Ground Types are the way to go, naturally. The top Ground Types make the duo easy, and can cause a lot of raw damage in short order.
The Don of Ground Types, Primal Groudon is a destructive monster that not only crushes Regieleki, but also boosts its fellow Ground Types just by existing on the team. This is a STRONG contender for the top pick here.
Mega Garchomp competes directly with Primal Groudon, which is a very tough act to follow. Its damage is lower, and it doesn't boost its fellow Ground Types by just existing, so why consider it over the king of the land?
Because Mega Garchomp triple-resists everything that Regieleki can throw at it, minus Lock-On which doesn't matter and Hyper Beam which is easy to dodge.
In general it's best to stick with Primal Groudon, but this thing is easy-mode for the duo due to its tremendous staying power.
Shadow Groudon is the gold-standard among the non-Mega Ground Types. It has strong general performance, and is always one of the top picks without a doubt.
Shadow Excadrill is basically Shadow Groudon, but a bit weaker. However, it does have superior defensive performance against Hyper Beam thanks to its Normal resistance. We'd mention Lock-On here as well, but at worst it tickles even when not resisted.
Shadow Garchomp shares its Mega forme's triple-resistance to Electric Moves, and its raw power gives it a VERY strong position as a raider here.
Another strong mix of DPS and TDO, Shadow Rhyperior just doesn't really care what Regieleki throws at it thanks to its Rock/Ground typing. It's here to cause damage, and nothing is going to stop it.
Landorus - Therian Forme hits hard, but it also only has a single-resistance to Electric Type moves, so it's a bit on the frail side comparatively speaking.
Another option that's a bit frail comparatively speaking, but it still packs a heavy punch.
Good Counters
The Good counters may not be solo-worthy outside of situations where a few of them have a ton of boosts active, but they can all run the duo with ease.
