HO-HO-HO! Santa Claws is a strong Water-type choice in Max Battles, eclipsing non-Gigantamax Inteleon and Gigantamax Blastoise in terms of Max Move damage. It may not be the TOP of Water Type Dynamax options, but it's definitely up there! In fact, when compared with other Water Types throwing out Max Geyser, this thing effectively has about 308 Attack when dropping G-Max Foam Burst. On top of that, it's a Santa crab, and that's funny. Bonus points if you manage to get one from Christmas Island!
Dynamax Roles
Gigantamax Kingler has great performance as a Water Type Gigantamax attacker. It's not the ABSOLULTE best, but it's strong enough to compete with the best in other types, meaning it's still very worthwhile.
That bulk is not good. Gigantamax Kingler wants to hide behind its dedicated tank, and just has to PRAY that someone else is using Max Guard to redirect attacks if it's forced onto the field.
...146 HP. Yeah.
Just focus on G-Max Foam Burst and you're fine, honestly.
