Tsareena was one of the mono-Grass Pokemon released in Alola, and it dropped in April 2023 in Pokemon Go for Sustainability Week. This is a Pokemon that would have been great back around 2018-2019 as it's actually very comparable to Roserade in terms of performance, but that now means that it's pretty outclassed nowadays. It's fine, but not great.

  • Magical Leaf and Grass Knot is the way to go for maximum Grass Type DPS
  • Razor Leaf and Energy Ball are decent, but both fall short.
  • Charm and Draining Kiss can work to make Tsareena into a pseudo-Fairy attacker, but it's not good at this job.
  • Triple Axel is good, but not great for Tsareena.
  • High Jump Kick* isn't great, and it honestly doesn't do much for Tsareena.
  • Stomp is basically useless on offense.

  • Charm is the best option due to its high base power and good neutral coverage, alongside the fact that it pairs with Tsareena's strongest Charged Move options, in particular Triple Axel.
  • Grass Knot is also good on defense, but not quite as good as Triple Axel.
  • Magical Leaf is comparable to Charm when STAB is taken into consideration for a reversal of Tsareena's above moveset. It has worse Fast Move coverage than Charm and a weaker charged move to pair with in Draining Kiss, but it's still an okay choice.
  • Stomp is a bit weak, but it has solid neutral coverage and is pretty hard to avoid. It can also pair with either of Tsareena's main Fast Moves just fine.
  • Energy Ball is a strict downgrade to Grass Knot due to having the same attack power but a later damage window, while Razor Leaf is a strict downgrade to Magical Leaf
  • High Jump Kick* is hard to dodge, but it's pretty weak for its high energy cost.
