Dynamax Gardevoir.... has issues. Sure, it's got the potential to be one of the better Fairy Type Dynamax damage dealers in the game, and its typing artificially inflates its defensive performance against several types, in particular Fighting thanks to its double-resistance, but in the end all of its best Fast Move options are 1.5 second, meaning Dynamax Gardevoir generates energy very slowly. In this regard, it's generally best to leave it in the back, throw it in to drop a Max Starfall or Max Mindstorm once you've got enough energy, then switch back to your tank immediately to generate energy and absorb hits again. In this regard, it's actually not bad; it's protected, its energy generation isn't much of an issue, and it can drop reasonably strong Max Moves. Just play it to its strengths and it can put in work.

Best
  • Charm for Max Starfall, Confusion for Max Mindstorm.
  • Magical Leaf can be useful for Max Overgrow, but Gardevoir isn't great with that.
  • Charge Beam is Dynamax Gardevoir's fastest Fast Move, meaning it can be used for Max Lightning and is the best Fast Move option for defensive play.
