One of the best sun abusers in the game thanks to the combo of Chlorophyll + After You. In the sun it gets a whopping 224 speed stat, allowing it to outspeed basically any Pokemon in the format if it doesn't have a Choice Scarf which is very uncommon in this format. You can check Swampert with Energy Ball and even Whimsicott with Sludge Bomb.

This team has two modes, one using Chlorophyll Vileplume to enable Torkoal and Mega Pyroar and the other using Farigiraf to set up Trick Room to enable Torkoal and Mawile. The conditions to bring either or is quite tricky but with enough practice you can see what you need to bring.
Trick Room Mons: Farigiraf, Mawile, Torkoal, Sneasler Trick Room Mode: For the Trick Room mode, I mainly look if the enemy has Tailwind setters or Rain teams that use Pelipper. I will lead Farigiraf 90% of the time, it is really hard to kill and basically guarantees a TR by the end of the turn. As for the partner, it depends on the team. If you are unsure on what to lead, default to Mawile due to their Intimidate ability and strong pressure inside of TR and priority Sucker Punch.
After You Mons: Vileplume, Pyroar, Torkoal, Sneasler/Farigaraf After You Mode: I like to view this mode as a punish for people who do not have consistent speed control or do not Fake Out Mons that can stop an After You + Eruption combo. Vileplume is more than just an After You spammer, it can spam fast Sleep Powders and deal decent damage with Sludge Bomb and Energy Ball. Mega Pyroar in the sun deals horrific amounts of damage, thanks to its Mega Ability, with Heat Wave and Overheat. Torkoal sets up the sun to enable these Pokemon. Some leads can be Vileplume + Torkoal or Torkoal + Sneasler if you see Whimsicott.
Hard Matchups: Staraptor: Staraptor is hard to deal with due to its bulk and it being paired with Whimsicott. You play a guessing game as to what move Whimsicott will use. Use Sneasler for Fake Out on Staraptor if you think they will Tailwind and try to set up TR with Farigiraf. If you think they will use Charm on their Staraptor, Fake out the Whimsicott and deal damage with Thunderbolt or set up TR. The game is basically decided on the Turn 1. Garchomp: It is very difficult to deal with Garchomp due to how fast it is and EQ. My best advice it so take some damage with Farigiraf to set up TR and partner it with Mawile so you can threaten Play Rough under TR next turn.
The team is super fun with some off-meta options, specifically the Vileplume, Mega Pyroar and the Iron Ball Sneasler. Please view Pokemon specific notes for some information of the off-meta picks.
Iron Ball allows Sneasler to work inside of TR. It has great Fake Out support but thanks to Iron Ball + Fling, it gets a 130 BP Dark type move that lets it hit the Ghost type Pokemon that it once struggled with. On the last turn of TR, if you haven't used Fling yet, use Fling to gain the Unburden speed bonus and deal huge damage.
Thunderbolt or Helping Hand can subbed out for Twin Beam or Psychic. Thunderbolt covers for Pelipper. Choose whatever you feel comfortable with.
Pyroar is a sleeper Mega Pokemon. Its Mega Ability boosts its Fire type moves by 50%. If Mega Pyroar is in the sun and you have the speed control, you basically win. Not many Pokemon can tank double damage Overheats or Heat Waves. Do not force Pyroar out, it MUST be brought in safely and under the right conditions. Usually next to Vileplume under the sun for After You spamming.
